Investment is $65/hour with the opportunity for 15% off in discounts in exchange for promotion of my services. I edit at about 2500-3000 words per hour, which varies on the kind of editing I'm doing. Proofreading (going over typos, punctuation, and ease of reading without suggestions for strengthening the work) is a little faster; content and developmental editing (which includes suggestions for strengthening the work) is a little slower. I require a 50% downpayment for projects that are larger than 5000 words. I do not edit manuscripts written using AI.
